Thank you for a superb holiday in December 2010.It was a delight to arrive at your hotel after a very difficult and long journey.We both were delighted with the service, rooms, food and facilities....just everything. Dear Mr. Mairhofer,

I would like to express my deep gratitude to the Mairhofer family and the entire Alpenpalace Team for the extraordinary hospitality my son Aubrey and I enjoyed at the Alpenpalace over the last few days.

You gracefully turned a. travel disaster into a wonderful rest. Many thanks to you and the desk staff for the dozens of telephone calls made to Lufthansa's baggage handlers on my behalf, for arranging the special express laundry service, and for the package of soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes and baby wipes that arrived in our room within minutes of our arrival!

Every staff member I came in contact with was amazingly gracious and competent, from Eric the doorman to Marta and Kathryn at the desk, to the wonderful drivers who waited all day for me at the airport and took Aubrey to the playground. In the restaurant, Michael was an wonderful host, suggesting local delicacies and full of delightful information about local culture. I privately began to call Abbas "Mr. Why Not" because he would answer every strange request from my 3-year-old with a "Why Not?" and then race off to whip up some marvelous plate. But "Why Not?" seems to apply to your entire staff.

I fully appreciated the beautiful pools, the scenery, the cleanliness of the rooms. The food was simply superb -- endless varied, wonderful ingredients, beautiful presentation.

Congratulations, Mr. Mairhofer, for assembling a team of hardworking, cheerful, extraordinarily competent people who make everything seem effortless.

I have stayed in five-star luxury hotels in almost 50 countries, and your hotel is truly one oft he best.

Dear Alpenpalace team,

We like to thank you for a wonderful stay at your hotel.Our suite was lovely and very well kept, the spa a pure delight. We enjoyed the tranquility, the views and especially the kindness of everyone working at the Palace. We were really spoilt, and were more than pleased with the Chef, Mr Strempel. We will advise all our friends to come and enjoy the services of your hotel. We definitely will be back soon.
